🏠 Love Your Home Back: Why Your Roof Matters
Your roof is one of your home’s first lines of defense — and taking care of it helps protect everything underneath. Roof condition can also play an important role in insurance eligibility and pricing.
A little maintenance goes a long way:
- Address missing or loose shingles, cracking, lifting, staining, moss, or tree damage early
- Keep gutters clear and trim overhanging branches
- Keep records of roof repairs and replacements

Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative
As part of our commitment to celebrating the people who make Engels Insurance special, we’re proud to spotlight Lyn Joyce, a cornerstone of our agency and a trusted resource for our commercial clients.
Lyn joined Engels Insurance in 1993, bringing with her a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for helping others. She began her career as a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative, and in 1998, she transitioned into Commercial Lines, where she has continued to grow and thrive for more than two decades.
In 2004, Lyn earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation. The CISR program emphasizes excellence in customer service — something Lyn consistently delivers. Her depth of experience, attention to detail, and thoughtful approach help ensure our business clients feel supported, informed, and confident in their coverage.
Within the office, Lyn is known for being exceptionally organized, dependable, and proactive. She is always willing to lend a hand, regularly goes above and beyond for both clients and teammates, and plays a vital role in supporting our agency’s success.
Outside of work, Lyn brings the same discipline and dedication to her personal pursuits. She is an avid runner and yogi who has completed multiple marathons and half marathons, and she is currently training for another race this year. That focus and perseverance mirror the care and commitment she brings to her role every day.
